Check Out Some Roller Derby Action and Help Save Skateworld!

That's right! The Friends of Skateworld will be the charitable group being promoted at this month's San Diego Roller Derby bout! SDRD helps out a local charitable cause at each of their home bouts - and this month it's the Friends of Skateworld! You will not want to miss this event! The ladies of SDRD will be taking on the Rage City Rollergirls - from Anchorage, Alaska! Not only will you enjoy some great roller derby, but there will also be opportunity drawings where you have a chance to win some great prizes! We'll also have a booth where you can get more info. about what's been happening in this fight to save Skateworld, pick up a "Save Our Skateworld" t-shirt, wristband, and fill out a letter of support, if you haven't already. All the action happens on Saturday, March 12th. Tickets are $12 general admission and children 5 and under are FREE! A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the FOSW to help in our efforts to save this rink! Your ticket also gets you entry to the open skate session following the bout, so you can stay and skate afterward (skate rental is an extra $4).
