Here is your opportunity to voice your concern and tell the Redevelopment Agency that you don't want to lose the last remaining roller rink in San Diego! They are asking for community input so let's give it! Please join the Friends of Skateworld at this very important meeting. As always, we ask that everyone remain respectful. Community Workshop – January 31, 2011

You are invited to a Community Workshop! (PDF)

Please consider participating in this meeting where we will be discussing the following items:

1. The kind of retail and commercial uses you would like to see in the project beyond those already there;
2. The type of activities you would like to have in the multi-purpose community hall;
3. The kind of services, classes, and functions you envision for the portion of the project that would serve as a community center; and
4. The components of the public areas of the project.

While there are many factors that govern what can happen at the site, the project team wants to hear your ideas. Please consider joining this effort and sharing your thoughts!
